Content Manager

We’re expanding the Content team at Hydrogen – could you be the right fit? We need somebody who sees the power of social media marketing and is up to the challenge of making an impact for our clients in that space.   


The role of Content Manager is perfect for someone who has previously worked as a Social Media Manager, or similar, and has at least 3 years’ experience in the field. Our ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working with luxury brands or the hospitality sector and holds strong copywriting skills.

The Role

This exciting role will see you work within the Content team to manage the social media marketing for a range of clients – you’ll be expected to handle everything from managing client relationships, to creating effective social posts and brainstorming campaigns: all while driving forward the overarching social strategy. 


Knowledge of handling social media management from start to end is essential, and you must be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own workload, speaking to clients, and managing multiple stakeholders. 


On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be:

  • Developing channel strategies and planning social campaigns  

  • Planning, drafting and scheduling social content for a variety of clients    

  • Working with our design team to develop assets for your content plans and campaigns  

  • Working closely with a range of clients and stakeholders, keeping them up to date with progress and results  

  • Keeping up to date with changes in social media  

Essential Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role   

  • Experience working with a luxury brand 

  • Strong copywriting skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to adapt tone of voice to match clients' needs   

  • A solid understanding of the wider digital marketing mix and channels  

  • Confidence in working and communicating with clients and leading accounts 

  • Full understanding of social media platforms and how to exploit them to deliver different marketing objectives   

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise   

  • A can-do attitude and creative flair

Advantageous Skills

  • Paid social advertising experience 

  • SEO knowledge and experience
