Social Media Account Manager

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team at a time of exciting business growth. Working within our Client Services & Strategy team, you will lead the day-to-day running of a number of exciting client businesses, representing and translating their needs into effective social strategies and executional plans.

You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident in developing and communicating client briefs to our high-performing team of creatives, content, paid media and insights managers.

The role requires a strong combination of leadership, communication and organisational skills - as well as a solid working knowledge of social media and the wider marketing communications landscape. Our client roster includes a mix of both B2B and B2C and experience of working with both is preferred.

The Role

  • Day-to-day account management of the client / agency responsibilities – including ongoing communication with the client and internal teams

  • Distil client briefs or business problems and translate into internal briefs - translating business problems into social marketing objectives

  • Keeping clients informed of new social initiatives and opportunities for the continued development of the client's business

  • Building strong working relationships with clients - adopting and championing best in class approach to account management and client service

  • Working alongside internal teams, analyse campaign performance, build case studies and recommend future solutions

  • Seeking opportunities for new business with existing clients and supporting new business pitches and proposals

  • Contribute to creative idea generation and campaign development

  • Co-ordinating with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met

Essential Requirements

  • 2 years + marketing agency or similar experience

  • Great presentation skills and confidence in communicating with clients

  • Passionate about social media

  • Ability to comfortably work on multiple clients at the same time

  • A can-do attitude and creative flair

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Proven problem solver

Advantageous Skills

  • Previous work experience in B2B

  • Basic technical knowledge of social media

  • Experience in creating social media strategies for clients
