Videographer

We’re looking for a skilled videographer who can also turn their hand to social media design to join our high-performing creative team.

This role is a permanent position that will see you working across a wide range of exciting clients: one day you might be shooting a product film for a whisky brand, the next creating a piece of static content for a B2B company, or creating a video showreel for a hotel.

Our ideal candidate has bags of passion for video and design and will have a can-do attitude. Proactivity is a must, as well as the ability to keep yourself highly organised in order to manage time and meet deadlines. You’ll be used to working as part of a team and by yourself and you will be confident in identifying ideas for new video projects. You will be confident in your design abilities and in being able to attend shoots by yourself if required.

Your portfolio should demonstrate your videography, design and editing skills, as well as being able to work across a variety of different video-based and creative projects.

Essential Requirements

  • The ability to shoot and edit video content

  • The ability to shoot stills photography

  • Graphic design ability and proficient in the Adobe CC suite

  • Experienced in using post-production software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro

  • Comfortable planning and facilitating video and photography shoots

  • Experience using lighting, audio and studio equipment

  • You must have a full UK driver’s license and access to a car (as you will often need to travel to shoots)

 

Advantageous Skills

  • Skilled in motion graphics and Adobe After Effects

  • Solid understanding of creative and design for social media and what works best on each channel

  • Able to demonstrate conceptual thinking ability

Community Manager

 

We’re looking for a Community Manager who can provide a quality level of customer service and community management across our client base.

This role is a permanent position that will see you working across a range of exciting clients, bringing their brand to life through customer service responses and community engagement.

Our ideal candidate has a can-do attitude and a passion for helping people. Proactivity is a must, as well as the ability to keep yourself highly organised in order to manage time and meet targets. Initially, you will work independently, albeit supported by the wider team, but there is potential for community management and customer service to evolve into a thriving department at Hydrogen with room for career progression.

Essential Requirements

Content Manager

We're looking for an experienced Content Manager to join our team.

The role will see you drafting content across a range of clients, working with the design team to create assets, and helping to create strategies that drive results.

Knowledge of handling social media management from start to end is essential, and you must be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own work loads, speaking to clients and creating social media content for a wide variety of industries: our clients range from drinks and sports to B2B and energy.

 

​This role is perfect for someone who already has a couple of years’ experience under their belt, and is looking for the chance to learn and grow. You’ll be expected to work alongside others and on your own to deliver the best possible results for clients.

 

Essential Requirements

  • At least two years' experience working in social media marketing

  • Understanding of and confidence in social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Good writing skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice to match clients' needs

  • Confidence when speaking to clients and leading accounts

  • Ability to comfortably work on different clients at the same time

  • A can-do attitude and creative flair

  • Strong organisational skills

 

Advantageous Skills

  • Experience of working at an agency

  • Experience in running paid social media campaigns

 

This role is full-time, and will be based in our Glasgow office.

Senior Content Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Content Manager to join our team.

This exciting role will see you work within the content team to manage the social media marketing strategies for a range of clients – you’ll be expected to handle everything from growing client relationships, to creating social posts and managing campaigns.

On a daily basis you will be managing the social output for a range of clients – including in the financial sector so previous experience here would be a plus.

Knowledge of handling social media management from start to end is essential, and you must be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own work loads, speaking to clients and staying up to date with changes in social media.

This role is perfect for someone who has several years of experience in social media marketing under their belt and is looking to take the next step up. Previous line manager experience would be useful in this role.

  • At least three years’ experience working in social media marketing

  • Understanding of and confidence in social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok

  • Good writing skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice to match clients' needs

  • Confidence when speaking to clients and leading accounts

  • Ability to comfortably work on different clients at the same time

  • A can-do attitude and creative flair

  • Strong organisational skills

 

Advantageous Skills

  • Financial services experience (including knowledge of the FCA’s rules on social media)

  • Experience working in an agency

  • Full UK driver’s licence and access to a car

  • Previous line management experience

  • Experience creating social media strategies for clients
