Content Manager

Content Manager

We’re expanding the Content team at Hydrogen – could you be the right fit? We need somebody who sees the power of social media marketing and is up to the challenge of making an impact for our clients in that space.  

 

The role of Content Manager is perfect for someone who has previously worked as a Social Media Manager, or similar, and has at least 3 years’ experience in the field. 

Salary starts from £24k p.a. but will of course be adjusted based on experience. See ‘What we can offer you’ for more detail on salary. 

The Role  

This exciting role will see you work within the Content team to manage the social media marketing for a range of clients – you’ll be expected to handle everything from managing client relationships, to creating effective social posts and brainstorming campaigns: all while driving forward the overarching social strategy. 

Knowledge of handling social media management from start to end is essential, and you must be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing your own work loads, speaking to clients, and managing multiple stakeholders. 

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be:   

  • Developing channel strategies and planning social campaigns  

  • Planning, drafting and scheduling social content for a variety of clients    

  • Working with our design team to develop assets for your content plans and campaigns  

  • Working closely with a range of clients and stakeholders, keeping them up to date with progress and results  

  • Keeping up to date with changes in social media   

 

Essential Requirements   

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role   

  • A solid understanding of the wider digital marketing mix and channels  

  • Confidence in working with clients and leading accounts  

  • Full understanding of social media platforms and how to exploit them to deliver different marketing objectives   

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to adapt tone of voice to match clients' needs   

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise   

  • A can-do attitude and creative flair   

  

Advantageous Skills 

  • Paid social advertising experience 

  • SEO knowledge and experience

Account Manager

 

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team at a time of exciting business growth. Working within our Client Services team, you will lead the day-to-day running of a number of exciting client businesses, representing and translating their needs into effective social strategies and executional plans.

You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident in developing and communicating client briefs to our high-performing team of creatives, content, paid media and insights managers.

The role requires a strong combination of leadership, communication and organisational skills - as well as a solid working knowledge of social media and the wider marketing communications landscape. Our client roster includes a mix of both B2B and B2C and experience of working with both is preferred.

The Role 

  • Day-to-day account management of the client / agency responsibilities – including ongoing communication with the client and internal teams, and project management

  • Distil client briefs or business problems and translate into internal briefs - translating business problems into social marketing objectives

  • Keeping clients informed of new social initiatives and opportunities for the continued development of the client's business

  • Building strong working relationships with clients - adopting and championing best in class approach to account management and client service

  • Working alongside internal teams, analyse campaign performance, build case studies and recommend future solutions

  • Seeking opportunities for new business with existing clients and supporting new business pitches and proposals

  • Contribute to creative idea generation and campaign development

  • Co-ordinating with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met


Essential Requirements

  • 2 years + marketing agency or similar experience

  • Great presentation skills and confidence in communicating with clients

  • Passionate about social media

  • Ability to comfortably work on multiple clients at the same time

  • A can-do attitude and creative flair

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Proven problem solver

Advantageous Skills

  • Previous work experience in B2B

  • Basic technical knowledge of social media

  • Experience in creating social media strategies for clients
